In 1967, from a little house in the Olney section of Philadelphia Pennsylvania, John Toner Sr. and his wife Jane (parents of six at the time) decided to start their own home remodeling business. For the next nine years they ran their up and coming business out of their home.

As soon as they could hammer a nail, the four Toner boys, John, Mike, Bob and Jim joined their father in his quickly growing business.

In 1976, the Toner family moved to the Rhawnhurst section of Philadelphia where they continued their home remodeling business from the basement of their home.

In 1983, no longer able to manage their rapidly growing business from their home, J.Toner & Sons opened a showroom at 2004 Rhawn Street. Although this showroom has since closed, it would be a fixture in the Rhawnhurst community for years to come.

   

In 1985, John and Jane had their first of 28 grandchildren, John J. Toner III beginning a whole new generation for the Toner family.

Sadly on November 24, 2004, our father, John Toner Sr. passed away.

He leaves behind a loving wife of 45 years, Seven Children, Twenty-eight Grandchildren, And a prominent home remodeling business that he and his wife started.

Today the Toner boys continue their father's legacy
with their talents and hard work that is:
